INTERNATIONAL HELLENIC UNIVERSITY (IHU)

Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, Laboratory of Energy Systems (LES)

The International Hellenic University (IHU) has its headquarters in Thessaloniki, Greece. It incorporates 7 Schools with 34 Departments, 40 institutionalized laboratories and offers more than 50 postgraduate study programs, some of which are cross-curricular or interdisciplinary, 22 of which are offered in English. Both active and past research actions include a number of NSRF projects and INTERREG transnational partnerships as well as EU frameworks such as HORIZON 2020 and Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions.
The Laboratory of Energy Systems (LES) of the International Hellenic University (IHU) specializes in the study and development of automotive powertrains and renewable energy systems.
The current research focuses on IoT, AI and electromobility on ground and underwater vehicles as well as data acquisition systems' development. LES is also very active on educational European financial frameworks like Erasmus Plus KA2 actions.

Project role

IHU-LES activity will cooperate on the development of numerical models in order to simulate ice-templating process and and advanced data of thermal and fluid modelling of ice-templating process, as well as on their validation and the setting of limit of their accuracy.
